Our History

Sponsor.ie was set up in 2010 after we realised that the great voluntary fundraisers out there weren’t necessarily getting the recognition or rewards that they deserved.

In addition we found that, having sponsored someone who was raising money for charity, there just wasn’t the means to stay informed on how they were getting on.

Sponsor.ie works hard to recognise the people who put so much time and effort in to raising so much money for charity. It’s a powerful tool for keeping your supporters updated, keeping them interested and keeping them giving.

There are many ways to fundraise and collect money for charity and we see Sponsor.ie as a new and different method, encouraging donors that might not otherwise have been available.
